I was going to say that its almost that time of the year again where everyone looses half of the brain capacity and all their sanity but I guess its too late for that now. It already is that time of the year…

While on a popular forum i came across a discussion regarding child porn and nudist sites. it seems that ‘Nudist’ sites can post images of minors in the nude as long as they are not being exploited or hurt.

Apparently its OK to do this because the pictures were taken in the interest of the ‘nudist lifestyle’. I say it fucking bullshit. This is nothing more than legalising child pornography which is no better that RAPE.

I’ve found a site that contains images of children and i reported it to the Film and Publications board of South Africa. I suggest that if you find sites containing images/stories/content of any kind depicting the exploitation  of minors, you report it to your local authority. Usually you can search ‘report child porn in country X’ on google/yahoo and you should be able to find a link.

Oh god, it was one of those nights again…it seems that at some point after Fearstrike and Revenge by dawn had their turn downstairs my sobriety made a turn for the worse. I saw one or two bands upstairs but i really cant tell who they were. Curse you cheap beer!  Wait, what am i saying?!? Bless you cheap beer!

Anyway, thanks to everyone that had a hand in organising the event. Also a big shout to the bands, the ones i saw were awesome. Just a pity i dont know who you were…

And if anyone has pictures form the night could you please send them to me so they can go up on the website!

Okey dokey, so if you actually read www.goapetown.com you will know that you(as a band) can register on our blog for free and you can put your band info and your gigs up on the blog. All you need to do now is register.

Soon you will also be able to do this on our forum so keep an eye open for that
